Panakam Recipe
Ingredients
Jaggery – 1/2 cup (Buy: https://amzn.to/2RVA0YZ)
Water – 2 cups
Pepper – 1 tsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2RPGoRp)
Cardamom pods – 4 (Buy: https://amzn.to/2U5Xxrn)
Finely chopped Ginger – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Melt the jaggery in a bowl of water.
2. Meanwhile, pound the Peppercorns and cardamom.
3. Once it is melted, strain the jaggery to remove excess dirt & add the pounded peppercorns and cardamom.
4. Pound ginger and add it.
5. Refrigerate and serve it cool.

In our home, we add dried ginger(sukku) and few drops of lemon juice to paanakam.. That is, Jaggery, water, powdered cardamom, sukku, lemon juice(a few drops)
