Ingredients :
Moong dal – 1 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Green chillies – 2 nos chopped
Ginger – a piece finely chopped
Onion – 1 no. Thinly sliced
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Water
Oil
Method:
Wash and soak moong dal for 1 hour
Grind the soaked moong dal coarsely
Transfer it to a bowl and add chopped onions, chopped Ginger, chopped green chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt
Mix everything well
Heat some oil for deep frying
Add small amounts of the mixture
Deep fry them till they turn golden brown in color
Serve them hot with mint chutney or coconut chutney
