To Make Khara Bath

Beans – 1 Cup
Carrot – 1 Cup
Green Peas – 1/4 Cup

Method:
To a pot, pour little water, add a cup of chopped beans. A cup of chopped carrot and fresh peas.
Add a pinch of salt, mix well, close the pot and cook for five minutes.
After five minutes, strain the vegetables and keep it aside.
To a wide kadai, add oil, ghee and one tsp of channa dala and few cashew nuts and roast it.
Then add, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and add chopped onion, green chilies slit and chopped ginger.
Saute them well.
Add a cup of rava and roast for three minutes.
Add three cups of water. Adding one and half cup of vegetable stock and one and half cup of regular water and mix.
Add, salt, turmeric powder, chopped tomato and cooked vegetables. Mix everything well.
Close the pan and cook for five minutes on medium flame.
After five minutes, open the kadai, pour little ghee. Freshly grated coconut , few curry leaves and few chopped coriander leaves and mix together.
Tasty kara bath is ready to be served hot with sambar and chutney of your choice.
