Ingredients
Groundnut – 200 Gms
Water – 1 1/2 Cups
Rock Salt – 1/2 Tsp
To Temper
Oil – 2 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Green Chili – 1 No. Chopped
Curry Leaves
Asafoetida Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Salt – 1/2 Tsp
Raw Mango – 2 Tbsp Finely Chopped (Optional)
Grated Coconut – 3 Tbsp
Method
You can either use whole groundnuts or readymade groundnuts that you get in the market for this recipe
Pressure cook the groundnuts with salt
Strain the groundnuts and keep it aside
Break open the groundnuts to get the nuts and keep them aside (continue with this step if you are using whole groundnuts)
Heat a pan with some oil, add mustard seeds and let it splutter
Add urad dal, green chilies, asafoetida, curry leaves
Add the cooked groundnuts and mix well
Add raw mango, grated coconut and mix well
Saute for 2 mins and turn off the stove
Groundnut sundal is ready to be served
