Ingredients

Green Gram – 1/2 Cup
Wheat Flour – 1/2 Cup
Salt – 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Kashmiri Chili Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Ghee
Hot Water

Method
Dry roast the green gram till it is reddish brown in color and let it cool down to room temperature
Grind the green gram to a fine powder
In a large bowl, sieve the green gram powder
Add wheat flour, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and ghee
Gradually add hot water and knead the dough
Apply some ghee on the dough to prevent them from drying
Divide the dough into dough balls
Place a dough ball on a rolling surface and flatten it Roll the dough ball into thin rotis
Heat a tawa and place the place the rolled roti on it
Add ghee and cook the green gram rotis till they are cooked evenly on both sides
Serve the Green Gram Roti hot with some pickle and raita
