Curry Leaves Rice – Recipe
Ingredients:

Curry leaves – 1 cup
Gingely/Sesame oil – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
Peppercorn – 8 nos
Sesame seeds – 1/2 tsp
Dry red chili – 4 nos
Asafoetida powder – 1/4 tsp
Tamarind – small piece

for cooking:
Cooked rice – 1 bowl
Gingely/Sesame oil
Chana dal – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Peanuts – 2 Tbsp
Dry red chili – 2 nos
salt

Method:
1. In a wide pan heat oil. Add Chana dal, Urad dal, Cumin seeds, Fenugreek seeds, Peppercorn, Sesame seeds, Dry red chili and roast in medium low flame
2. Now add curry leaves, asafoetida powder and tamarind piece. Roast till you get the aroma then turn off and let the mix cool down
3. Grind the mix to powder. Your curry leaves powder is ready!
4. In the same pan, heat oil. Add Chana dal, Urad dal, Mustard seeds, Peanuts & Dry red chili and roast in medium low flame
5. Now add the cooked rice, curry leaves powder and salt. Mix evenly then turn off
Done!!
