Green Chilli – 2 Nos
Garlic – 2 Cloves

To Make Tempering

To Make Okra Fry
Okra – 250 Gms

Curry Leaves
Onion – 1 No. Chopped
Salt – 1 Tsp (Buy: https://amzn.to/2vg124l)
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp(Buy: https://amzn.to/2RC4fm4)
Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Garlic – 2 Cloves

To Cook The Rice
Rice – 1/2 Cup
Water – 1 1/2 Cups

Method:
To make the spinach dal:
1. Chop the spinach leaves and keep it aside.
2. To the cooker, add toor dal, water, tomato, green chilli, garlic, tamarind, salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder. Mix everything.
3. Add the spinach leaves. Close and cook for 3 whistles.
4. In a separate pan, add ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, garlic, curry leaves and asafoetida powder.
5. Add the tempered ingredients to the spinach dal.

To make Okra Fry:
1. Chop the okra and keep it aside.
2. To a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, asafeotida powder, curry leaves, onions and saute.
3. Now add the chopped okra and continue to saute for 5 mins.
4. Now add salt, turmeric powder and mix weel.
5. Once the okra changes color, add chilli powder and cumin powder.
6. Finally add the crushed garlic and finish.

To make the rice
1. To a pressure cooker, add the rice and water.
2. Cover and cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
3. Once the pressure if released, open the cooker.
