Chana Bhatura | Ventuno Home Cooking – Vegetarian

Chana Bhatura – Vegetarian
Ingredients

All purpose flour – 1 1/2 cup
Semolina/Rava – 1/4 cup
Curd – 1 cup
Sugar – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking soda a pinch
Ghee – 2 tsp
A little Water
Oil for frying

Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients & knead it well. Add All purpose flour, Semolina/Rava, Salt, Sugar, Cooking soda & mix it well.
2. Now gradually add Curd & mix it well. Then add little Water & knead it into a dough.
3. Let the dough sit for 30 minutes.
4. Then add Ghee to the dough & knead again for 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Roll the dough into a small balls. Then flat it out with a rolling pin. Cut it out evenly with the help of a cutter or a simple round container, to get the round shape.
6. Deep fry in hot oil. Your Bhatura is ready.
7. Serve hot with Chana.

  • Hello Subramanyanji,i really appreciate your effort in making bhatura, i have been waiting for a the recipe since long time, thank you very much for wonderful bhatura recipe.no yeast and tasted good when i tried long time back,recipe is back again, and all of your recipes are simple to make,even though i have not tried any other recipes yet except one , but they look easy and tasty nice channel thank you again bless you.:)
