To Make Banana Ada

Banana – 2 Nos
Powdered Jaggery – 1 Cup
Water – 2 Cups
Cashew Nuts
Raisins
Coconut – 1/2 Cup
Semolina – 1/2 Cup
Rice Flour – 2 Tbsp
Salt
Cardamom Powder – 1 Tsp
Ghee

Method
First step is to hold the banana leaf over the low flame to
make it soft and easy to wrap.
Take two ripe Nenthran bananas. Peel the skin and cut into
pieces. Transfer it to a bowl.
To a sause pan, add one cup of powdered jiggery and two
cups of water, Once it starts boiling, switch off the stove and
set it aside.
Heat 1 tsp of ghee, add chopped cashews and raisins. Roast
them and transfer both to a bowl.
To the same pan, add three tbsp. of ghee, and add the chopped
banana and sauté. Then add half cup of freshly grated coconut
and add half cup of semolina. Roast it for about two minutes.
Then add two tbsp. of rice flour, a pinch of salt , one tsp of
cardamom powder and roast it, Add another two tbsp. of ghee
continue to roast the mixture .
Pour in the strained jaggery syrup to the mixture. Mix
everything well.

Add in the roasted cashews and raisins and Switch off the
stove.
Grease the banana leaves with ghee, and place portions of the
sweet mixture into each leaf. Fold and wrap them neatly.
Place the wrapped adais on a steamer plate and steam cook
them for about 5 minutes.
