Taro roots comprise of calcium oxalate in a needle-shaped crystal form. This can produce a burning sensation and irritation when handled with bare hands or consumed in its raw form. Hence, one should wear gloves while cooking it. Taro root consumption may cause the formation of kidney stones and gout, accompanied by some other health issues. Hence, proper boiling of the roots for an extended period is advised.

I had previously asked for mutton recipes in ur vaazhapoo vadai video . even though u don't cook mutton ,u had posted mutton briyani n I tried it at once, it was gud n the flavor was nice. I shd really thank u , for u value al our comments.. n today tried ur taro root fry. first I added only 3 tbspn oil thinking it will b enough bt at the end i added one more tbspn oil, ur measurements r very accurate. I have tried almost 85% of all ur recipes . also ur vaazhakai puttu was very different. my mother (aged 71) liked it so much. i think no one else in YouTube has come up with puttu recipe using vaazhakai with perfect texture., the plus being it's not sticky . even the timing u told for steaming was perfect.nw a days I don't depend on my mother for cooking. I m making it on my own watching ur channel. ur herbal bath powder is on my to-do list for next week.i can keep on writing abt ur food channel. all these days I didn't have enough time to register in ur comment section. bt here after watever I try ,u can c me in comment section. .n al viewers of ur channel r awaiting for lot more simple yet innovative recipes from u.keep rocking
