INGREDIENTS (1 cup = 200ml)
3/4th cup raw whole green moong
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
4-5 cloves of garlic
1 inch ginger
2 green chillies or as per taste
7-8 curry leaves
1/4th tsp turmeric powder
A generous pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste
3/4 tsp sugar or as per taste
1-2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Water as required
