  • This is the simple most recipe I have ever come across. Nothing to remember. Some comments below enquire about measurements. Measurements are not at all relevant here. Simple. Cut lemon. Pour lemon juice to cover the pieces. Put some turmeric powder and salt to taste. check slat, it should be a little more because saltness will reduce over time. Then keep a cloth tightly covered and let it rest for 3 days. Later, put roasted fenugreek seed powder and chilli powder mix it, check salt and there you go.. Keep it a few days to get the full flavour. Well, I didn't try it; looks so appealing.

  • Gayatri Garu, I have tried many of your recipes and all of them have come out very well. My query is can citrus which is slightly bitter in taste but belongs to the lemon family be also pickled in the same way as nimmakaya uragaya ?
