Lauki halwa or Dudhi halwa is a sweet Indian dessert made from bottle gourd. Bottle gourd is also known as lauki or ghiya or dudhi.
Generally people do not like lauki very much.But today we are going to make a very tasty indian dessert with this boring lauki, which is very tasty, rich in taste and texture. It is very easy to make, we are making this yummy bottle gourd halwa with milk and sugar only and these ingredients are always available at home.
Also please note that sometimes bottle gourd is bitter in taste,to avoid using a bitter tasting bottle gourd ( which can be dangerous also), please wash it thoroughly and after peeling, taste a bit.
