Homemade बिना नारियल South Indian Chutney Recipe for Idli Dosa | Food Connection

In this video, we’ll show you how to make South Indian chutney without coconut that pairs perfectly with soft idlis and crispy dosas.

Ingredients –
1 sliced onion
3-4 Garlic
8-10 Curry leaves
A small piece of ginger
2 Green chilis
1/4 Cup Peanuts
1/4 Cup Roasted chana
A small piece of tamarind
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup of fresh coriander
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal
Dry red chilis
2 tsp Oil
Method –
Heat a spoon oil, add curry leaves, onion, garlic, ginger and green chilis, roast for 2 minutes on low flame, add peanuts and roasted chana and roast for 3-4 minutes, now switch off the flame, let it cool.
Transfer this in a mixer jar, add tamarind and fresh coriander, 1/2 cup of water, salt. Grind and make a smooth paste. If required add more water. Now transfer in a bowl.
For tadka, heat a spoon oil, crackle mustard seeds, urad dal, red chili, and cook for 30 seconds. Add in prepared chutney and delicious no coconut southindian chutney is ready.
