Recipe –
Ingredients –
250 gram Maida
80ml ghee
For sugar syrup –
300gram Sugar
Cardamom powder
Method –
Mix maida and ghee nicely, add water and make a tight crumbly dough. Do not over knead.
Make a ball and roll in a thick roti and cut in one inch long pieces. Fry in medium hot oil on low flame till they become crispy and light brown in colour. Take them out and keep aside.
For sugar syrup add sugar and 1/2 cup of water in wok, melt sugar and make a thick sugar syrup, add cardamom powder. Now add fried khurme in sugar syrup and stir consciously till sugar coats properly. Now transfer in a plate and separate them properly, let them cool. You can store for a month. This is my nani recipe, try it once for traditional taste.
