Ingredients –
2 cups maize flour / makki aata
1/4cup wheat flour
1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves / methi leaves
1 boiled and mashed potato
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ajwayan
1 tsp salt
Hing
Method –
Heat a spoon oil and add fresh fenugreek leaves and cook for a minute. Switch off the flame.
Add maize flour, wheat flour, boiled potato and cooked fenugreek leaves, add all spices and mix, Add water and prepare a soft dough. Knead and make it smooth. Now prepare small balls from the dough, roll in a small thick disc. Fry in hot oil and enjoy these crispy makka aata puri with pickle and sarso ka saag.
