Hello freinds, aaj me aap sab ke liye ek healthy steamed breakfast recipe layi hu, jise aap kam mehnat se bana sakte hai ise aap breakfast, teatime snacks and kids ko lunchbox me bhi de sakte hai. ye dal chawal se bana tasty nashta hai.
Ingredients –
1/2 cup rice
1/2 cup Poha
1/4 cup urad dal
1/4 cup Yellow moong dal
1/4 cup Chana dal
1/2 cup Curd
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp eno / Fruit salt
For tadka –
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Green chilis
Fresh coriander
Method –
Mix rice, poha, all dal in a bowl, wash with water and soak in water for 4-5 hours.
Now sieve all soaked ingredients and save the water for later use.
Add dal mixture in a mixer jar and saved water as needed, prepare a thick and fine paste,
Transfer in a bowl, add curd and mix nicely, cover and keep aside for fermentation. It will take 4-5 hours in summers and in winters it will take 8-10 hours.
After fermentation, add salt, turmeric and soda and mix nicely.
Apply oil on a plate or a tin, pour the batter and steam for 15-20 minutes.
Take out the plate from steamer, allow to cool for 10 minutes, Demould and cut in square pieces.
For tadka, heat oil, crackle mustard seeds, add curry leaves, green chillis, cook for a minute, pour tadka over dhokla and enjoy this soft and spongy healthy dhokla with chutney.
