Thalipeeth recipe | ತಾಲಿಪಟ್ಟು | थालीपीठ | Uttara Karanataka Thalipeeth Recipe

Thalipeeth or Thalipattu is a savory multi-grain flatbread popular in western India. It is healthy, tasty and nutritious breakfast or snack.

Ingredients – ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು – सामग्रियां :

Cooked Rice – ಅನ್ನ – पके हुए चावल – 1 cup
Cumin Seeds – ಜೀರಿಗೆ – जीरा – 1 tbs
Green Chili – ಹಸಿರು ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ – हरी मिर्च – 3
Wheat Flour – ಗೋಧಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು – गेहूं का आटा – 2 cups
Turmeric Powder – ಅರಿಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ – हल्दी – 1/2 tbs
Salt – ಉಪ್ಪು – नमक – to taste
Ajwain/Carom Seeds – ಅಜ್ವೈನ್ – अजवायन – 1/2 tbs
Onion – ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ – प्याज – 1/2, finely chopped
Tomato – ಟೊಮೆಟೊ –  टमाटर – 1, finely chopped
Carrot – ಕ್ಯಾರಟ್ – गाजर – 1, grated
Cucumber – ಸೌತೆಕಾಯಿ – खीरा – 1, grated
Dill – ಸಬ್ಬಸಿಗೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪು – सोआ – 1 bunch
Coriander/Cilantro – ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ – धनिया
Oil – ಎಣ್ಣೆ – तेल – 4 tbs
