Masala Bread Toast

Masala Bread toast is an open toast with a masala topping made with vegetables like onion, capsicum, carrot, tomato and some of the spices. It is one of the very tasty evening snacks.

Ingredients – ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು – सामग्रियां :

Onion – ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ – प्याज – 1/2, thinly sliced
Tomato – ಟೊಮೆಟೊ –  टमाटर – 1, finely chopped
Carrot – ಕ್ಯಾರಟ್ – गाजर – 1, grated
Capsicum – ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ – शिमला मिर्च – 1/2, finely chopped
Oil – ಎಣ್ಣೆ – तेल – 4 tbs
Turmeric Powder – ಅರಿಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ – हल्दी – 1/2 tbs
Chili Powder – ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಪುಡಿ – लाल मिर्च का पाउडर – 1/2 tbs
Chaat Masala Powder – ಚಾಟ್ ಮಸಾಲ ಪುಡಿ – चाट मसाला पाउडर – 1/2 tbs
Cumin Powder – ಜೀರಿಗೆ ಪುಡಿ – जीरा पाउडर – 1/2 tbs
Salt to taste – ಉಪ್ಪು ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು – नमक स्वादअनुसार
Coriander/Cilantro – ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ – धनिया
Butter – ಬೆಣ್ಣೆ – मक्खन
Bread – ಬ್ರೆಡ್ – ब्रेड
