ನುಚ್ಚಿನುಂಡೆ ರೆಸಿಪಿ nuchinunde recipe in kannada | steamed dal dumplings

Nuchinunde is a traditional recipe from Karnataka. These are protein packed steamed dal dumplings, ideal for breakfast or evening snacks. Best served with coconut or tomato chutney and ghee.

Ingredients – ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು – सामग्रियां :

Toor Dal – ತೊಗರಿ ಬೇಳೆ – तूर दाल – 1 cup
Split Chickpeas/Split Bengal Gram – ಕಡಲೆ ಬೇಳೆ – चना दाल – 1/2 cup
Moong Dal – ಹೆಸರು ಬೇಳೆ – मूंग दाल – 1/2 cup
Green Chili – ಹಸಿರು ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ – हरी मिर्च – 3
Onion – ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ – प्याज – 1/2, finely chopped
Coriander/Cilantro – ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ – धनिया
Curry Leaves – ಕರಿಬೇವು – करी पत्ता
Dill – ಸಬ್ಬಸಿಗೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪು – सोआ – 1 bunch
Grated Coconut – ತುರಿದ ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ – किसा हुआ नारियल – 1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – ಶುಂಠಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ ಪೇಸ್ಟ್  – अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट – 1/2 tbs
Salt to taste – ಉಪ್ಪು ರುಚಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು – नमक स्वादअनुसार
Turmeric Powder – ಅರಿಶಿನ ಪುಡಿ – हल्दी – 1/4th tbs
Oil – ಎಣ್ಣೆ – तेल – 1 tbs
