    Sour Cream and Onion (dip)

I knew the sour cream and onion flavor of Kernel Season’s was going to be great as soon as I opened the shaker bottle. I could smell the goodness. I have not been disappointed with any of the flavors from the 20 bottle variety pack I bought.
I’d go with something simple and make The Kernel’s Zippy Dip, but use sour cream and onion instead of their ranch flavor. It was outstanding! Sooooo much better than any packet dressing or that stuff that comes in a can or jar.

I had a little dip leftover. I put it over grilled fingerling potatoes for great mini bakers!

    Ingredients
    16 ounces sour cream
2 capfuls of Kernel Season’s Sour Cream and Onion or other flavor
    Instructions
Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

    Watermelon Popcorn Recipe

    Ingredients
    6 cups popped popcorn

    1 package Vanilla Almond Bark

    1/2 box watermelon Jell-O mix

2 Tbsp chocolate sprinkles (or anything that looks like watermelon seeds!)

    * optional: green food coloring gel

    Preparation:
    1. Prepare popcorn

    2. Melt Almond Bark, following package instructions

    3. Stir until evenly coated

    4. If taking the optional step, divide popcorn (evenly) into two bows

    5. In bowl number 1, add watermelon Jell-O

    6. Stir until all your kernels are covered (mmmmmm, yum)

    7. Add sprinkles!

    8. Add 3-4 drops of your green gel good coloring (adding the gel food coloring after mixing in the almond bark prevents the almond bark from clumping and hardening)

    9. Spread popcorn onto parchment paper or foil and allow to cool

    10. Once cooled, add popcorn to a serving bowl and enjoy!

    PEACH SANGRIA POPCORN RECIPE

    Ingredients

    6 cups of popped popcorn
    1/2 stick of unsalted butter
    1/2 cup of white sugar
    1/2 cup of corn syrup
    1/2 cup of peach preserves
    1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
    Dried fruit for topping (optional)

    Directions
Prepare popcorn whichever way you’d like (air popper, microwave, stove top, pre-popped)
Melt butter in a large pot over medium-high heat
Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and peach preserves
When mixture comes to a boil, allow to sit for 2 minutes and then stir in baking soda (it will puff up/expand!)
Immediately stir in popcorn into the pot until coated evenly
Pour coated popcorn out on parchment paper or another nonstick surface and allow to cool
Sprinkle popcorn with some extra white sugar and dried fruit (optional)
    Enjoy!
