Description :
Gujiya (Ghughara) is traditional India sweet which is popularly make at festival time of Diwali and Holi. There are so many variations in this recipe with its stuffing to its name. Make it whatever way you like but they will rock n roll in your mouth anyway.
For roasting Khoya:
Ghee – 1 TBS
Milk powder – 1 Cup
Milk – ¾ Cup
For roasting suji(semolina):
Ghee – 3½ TBS
Semolina – 1 Cup
For seasoning:
Powder sugar – 1 Cup
Cardamom-nutmeg powder – ¼ TSP
Mixed nuts – ½ to 1 Cup
For dough:
All purpose flour (Menda) – 1 Cup
Ghee – 1½ TBS
Warm water – 1/3 Cup
