Besan ke ladoo tastes great and is of great medicinal value as well. It provides great nourishment and is rich in fibres. Prep time: 10mins
Cook time: 4-5mins
Serves: 6-8nos

Ingredients:
1. Gram flour: 200gms
2. Desi ghee: 100gms
3. Powdered sugar: 100gms
4. Cardamom powder: ½ tbs

Method:

Step 1: Roasting the gram flour
To make the finest besan ke ladoo we need to roast the gram flour in desi ghee at first. So take a pan and put it on gas and turn the gas on. Pour 3/4th ghee in it and keep the rest aside as we will put the ghee accordingly when needed.

Now when the ghee has melted pour the besan in it and roast it by stirring it continuously on medium flame. Pour a little more ghee again and stir and roast till they change color and the ghee starts to separate and the besan becomes wet with ghee. Roast ½ more mins and then turn the gas off.

Step 2: Mixing the cardamom powder and sugar
While the mixture is still hot put the cardamom powder and mix well so that the flavor goes into the mixture well and nice. It’s important not to put the sugar while the mixture is very hot so at first pour it out in a bowl and let it cool down. Once it is a little cool put the sugar in and mix well.

Step 3: Binding the ladoos
Now after mixing everything well and the mixture is cool as well it’s time to bind the ladoos. Take small portions of the mixture and press tightly and make round balls. Make balls according to your choice of size and keep on plate.

Put a cashew on top and voila your super amazing and equally healthy homemade Besan ke ladoo is ready to be enjoyed!

Notes:
1. Do not pour the entire ghee at once and save it to use accordingly.
2. Always use coarse grinded gram flour as ladoos made from fine gram flour becomes sticky in mouth.
3. Roast the Besan on medium flame as it may stick to the pan and burn. And let it turn a little golden and when it starts leaving ghee. Turn the gas off.
4. Do not mixes the sugar while the mixture is still hot let it cool down a bit.
5. Put a cashew on top for the final presentation.
