Prep time: 10mins
Cook time: 15mins
Serves: 2people

Ingredients:
1. Capsicum: 1nos Red, Yellow, Green (Cut into 1inch cubes)
2. Onion: 1nos( cut into 1inch cubes)
3. Paneer: 300gms(cut into big cubes)
4. Hung curd: 150gms
5. Salt: 1tbs
6. Garam masala: 1tbs
7. Chaat masala: 1tbs
8. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 ½ tbs
9. Lemon juice: 1tbs
10. Kashmiri red chili powder: 1tbs
11. Coriander powder: 1tbs
12. Turmeric: ½ tbs
13. Roasted gram flour: 3tbs

Method:

Step 1: Making the tikka masala
The most important thing in tikka is its spice paste so take a medium bowl and put the hung crd in. Then put all the other ingredients roasted gram flour, salt, garam masala, chaat masala, kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste and lastly the lemon juice and make a thick paste of spices out of it.

Step 2: Coating the capsicum and paneer
Now at first put the 3 color diced capsicum in the paste and mix them well and then put the onion too and coat them nice. Lastly put the paneer in it and with light hands coat the spices on it as well. We did not put capsicum, onion and paneer all at once because paneer is soft and it might break while coating so coat the paneer lightly and you can use hands to coat as well.

Step 3: Arranging the paneer and vegetables in skewers
Now take a skewer and put green capsicum through it first and then red one and then yellow one. Put the onion as well and one paneer cube. Repeat the same and make all the different skewers so that we can grill them.

Step 4: Grilling!
Now when the skewers are ready heat up a grill pan and brush a little oil and then place the skewers on it. Lower the flame and grill each side nicely on medium heat. Put oil on the sides and turn them over and grill each of the four sides well. As the spice rub we made isn’t watery the paneer is grilling well.
After the 4 sides are done, serve them up!

Serve this grilled paneer tikka well with chutney of your choice and enjoy them well!

Notes:
1. Remove extra water from the hung curd. I have kept it in a cotton cloth and drained all the water.
2. Mix all the ingredients well and make a thick paste.
3. Coat the capsicum at first, then the onion and lastly the paneer well with the spice and use your hands to coat as well.
4. Put the capsicum, onion and paneer on skewers by arranging nicely and grill them well from all the four sides.
5. It is important that the spice rub should be thick as because it has curd in it which will make them secrete water and can make the paneer break and fall apart.
6. When it’s ready serve up.
