Let’s learn how to make tuna cutlet in easy steps

Tuna cutlet is made with tinned tuna and potato. This crispy cutlet can be used as starter for Christmas.

Ingredients

Tuna – 3 cans of tuna (120 g each)
Potato – 3 medium
Onion – 2 medium
Green chilli – 3-4
Ginger, chopped – 1 tbsp
Garlic, chopped – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves, chopped – 3 tbsp
Pepper powder – 3 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp
Fennel powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as required
Oil – as needed

Instructions

Remove water from tuna tin. Squeeze out any excess water in tuna. Saute onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilli. When it softens, add coriander leaves. Add pepper powder, fennel powder, garam masala powder, and turmeric powder. When raw smell of powder leaves, add tuna. Cook till tuna is light brown in color. Let the mixture cool down. Taste check for salt and if needed add it.

When mixture cools down, add potato. Mix well. Roll into desired shapes.
Dip the cutlets in egg whites followed with bread crumbs. Fry in oil.
