Description :
Shevyo/Shirvolyo or steamed rice noodles are prepared with Goan Par Boiled Rice, which are soaked overnight, ground into semi thick batter and steamed like idllis, passed through pressing machine (shevgo, Sev/Chakli Maker) while its hot. It is served with chunn (Mixture of freshly grated coconut and jaggery) or sweet coconut milk. It is mostly eaten for breakfast or during evening tea.

■ Ingredients & Quantity
For noodles
Goan Par boiled Rice – 2 cups (500gms)
Water – 1 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
For Chunn (Sweet)
Freshly scraped Coconut – 2 cups
Palm jaggery – 1/2 cup
Sugarcane jaggery – 1/2 cup
Cardamon powder – 1 tsp
