Mackerel Recheado is a goan seafood delight crispy pan fried mackerals fish stuffed with Recheado masala coated with semolina (Rava) or flour is much loved by every goan. Bangdo is the Konkani name for mackerel fish. Recheado Masala paste is one of the precious gems in the spectra of spice paste. This masala can be used in vegetarian or non vegetarian cooking but mostly used as a stuffing in fish and seasfood.

Ingredients & Quantity
Whole Mackerals (cleaned & slitted) – 2 nos
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Refined oil – 3 tbsp
Semolina ( rava ) – 30 gms
Recheado masala Recipe
Kashmiri chillies – 20 nos
Garlic – 12 cloves
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch stick
Onions (sliced & fried) – 1
Cloves – 8
Peppercorns – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Palm vinegar – 200 ml
Grind all the ingredients in a mixer using vinegar till you get fine paste. Use as required.
