👉Ingredients & Quantity

Fresh Mackerels  (Bangda) – 04 Nos

Oil for frying – 3 tbsp

👉For marinade

Kashmiri red chili powder  – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder  – 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder  – 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder  – 1 tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice –  1 tbsp

Kokum water – 3 tbsp

Ginger – Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp

👉For Coating

Semolina – 1/2Cup

Red chili powder – 1/4 Tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 Tsp

Method

1) Clean the fish by cutting its fins, tail, and removing its gut, wash, and drain.

2) For Marination in a bowl add, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, cumin powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala, salt, lemon juice, kokum water and ginger-garlic paste, mix well into a smooth paste.

3) Apply the masala all over the fish and let it rest for 30-40 minutes

4) Once the fish is perfectly marinated, in a separate plate, add semolina, turmeric powder, and red chili powder and mix well.

5) Coat the marinated fish with the semolina on all sides

6) Heat oil in pan. Once the oil is hot enough, add the fish and fry for 5-10 mins on each side till it’s crispy.

7) Serve hot with salad or fish curry rice, enjoy
