Ingredients & Quantity
Chonak fish with bone (Giant Sea Perch) – 6 pieces
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Semolina (rava) – 1/4 cup
Coconut oil for frying
Method
1) Clean the fish, wash and drain. You can use filllet or with bone fish.
2) To make the marinade mix Kashmiri red chili, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and mix it together. Marinate for 30 mins.
3) Take semolina in a plate and add some turmeric powder and mix.
4) Coat the fish with semolina on both sides.
5) Heat coconut in a pan and once the oil is hot enough add the fish pieces and fry for 5-7 mins each side till it gets crispy coating on outside
6) Once done remove and serve hot.
