How to make Chicken Tikka Masala at home / Pan Fried Chicken Tikka / Chicken Tikka Masala in Oven
Description :
Chicken Tikka Masala / Pan Fried Chicken Tikka Masala is an exotic gravy which is not only popular in India but all over the world. Both India and UK have been claiming to be the birthplace of this recipe but no matter where the dish originated, it certainly deserves a spot on your plate.
For making this recipe, first we have to make Chicken Tikka Kebab. Chicken tikka is nothing but small seasoned pieces of chicken cooked on a skewer at high temperature so that all the flavors are locked within the chicken pieces. I have given information on how to make chicken tikka on stove top or in a oven or over a grill.
The Chicken Tikka can also be pan fried without using the oven. Yes, the only requirement is to fry the chicken tikka at a very high temperature so if you have a heavy bottom iron frying pan it will be perfect for the recipe to fry the chicken tikka.
You can also make Chicken Tikka Masala in oven. Make sure your oven is at highest possible temperature before cooking the chicken kebabs. Then turn your oven to broil mode for the last 2 minutes of cooking to develop the gorgeous color on the chicken pieces.
Once we have the chicken tikka ready, remove the chicken pieces from the kebab. The tikka masala is a delicious gravy made with onions which are sauteed with spices and ginger-garlic paste. The addition of cashews adds richness and creaminess to the gravy. The chicken tikka pieces are then added into the gravy and cooked until the chicken pieces are soaked with the delicious masala to form the restaurant style Chicken Tikka Masala.
