Easy Chicken Biryani for Beginners / How to make Chicken Biryani in Pressure Cooker

Description :

In this video we will see how to make Chicken Biryani in Pressure cooker , this is an easy chicken biryani for beginners and is guaranteed method to make delicious biryani. I am a big fan of Dindigul Thalapakatti Chicken Biryani and always wanted to make a biryani with such amazing taste. The biryani masala used in the recipe is from the Chettiand Cuisine giving this the taste of authentic Chettinad Chicken Biryani.
The first step in making this Chicken biryani at home is to make the aromatic biryani masala. First saute the oinions and tomatoes with the prepared masala and then the chicken pieces are added and cooked till about the meat is cooked to about 50%. Then pre-soaked basmati rice is added and cooked for 1 whistle in the pressure cooker. Since both the chicken and rice are cooked together in the pressure cooker, the rice will absorb a lot of flavor from the chicken pieces and will taste simply wonderful.
Also since the chicken is going to be cooked on the open pot method, It gives more control and information about cooking the chicken pieces properly. Also the mixture can be taste tested and adjusted all along. Soaked Basmati Rice cooks very fast in pressure cooker so stop the cooking process at 1 whistle.

Enjoy this Easy Chicken Biryani made in Pressure Cooker with onion raita.

  • Great product>>>ur2.pl/1035 i've had earlier versions of electric pressure cookers and either sent one back and donated the other. They were clunky, heavy and not user friendly. I saw a demo on this one and decided to give it another try. There is a small learning curve but, so far, I'm impressed and very happy with the purchase. It's quick, easy and the clean up is a breeze.

  • I must be honest with you I've been watching alot of Briyani videos, it looks to complicated. I love your simple innovative idea of cooking in a Pressure Cooker. Which I have, would save me a hell alot of work doing dishes or cooking in two different pots to make Briyani. You made my favorite dish in the world look so simple for a beginner to cook, with a short and nice video. Love it can't wait to try!
