Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe / How to make kofta at home / How to make Meatballs Indian Style
Description :
In this video we will see how to make Chicken Kofta Curry. Koftas are the Indian style meatballs. Since we are dealing with minced chicken meat the seasoning will be absorbed uniformly by the chicken and will have an excellent taste. For making kofta curry there are two main methods, frying the meatballs before making the curry which imparts a crispy texture making the the kofta balls suitable for appetizer / starter. For serving it as as a side dish gravy for chapathi / naan or rice, the kofta balls are directly used in the recipe without frying. This makes the koftas soak up the flavor more efficiently and they will be soft and juicy making it an ideal side dish.

Very nice ,,,,
Steffi in your chicken kofta Curry. U can add chopped onions wen u prepare kofta balls. Tis ad more taste to the recipe
I tried this and it came out very well. Children loved it. The only thing I noticed in my version was that the chicken koftas felt very dense and solid. When i eat chicken kofta in restaurants, its very soft. I wonder what can I do to make the koftas soft rather than dense and solid.
Looks just Yummy.. Must try it soon…

How long did you fry them? I am afraid that the minced meat will be left uncooked because we are not using the pressure cooker.
