Lebu Cha—Lemon tea, Kolkata-street style at home

Lebu cha recipe: Our college lives were spent drinking hundreds of tiny glassfuls of this stuff—lebu cha, or lemon tea is a hot sweet, salty, and sour tea, flavoured with fresh lime juice along with a seasoning mix or moshla. This moshla is a secret formula that varies from seller to seller and a someything they take pride in and guard. For this video we went to our favourite cha-er dokan (tea stall) right next to Gate No.4 at Jadavpur University, run by Naseer da. He has been running the shop for 37 years (at the time of the making of this video). Thousands of bright minds have been nurtured by this stuff—it’s potent!
