Ingredients for 1 KG Rice
Serves 6 – 8 members
Basumati rice – 1kg
fish pieces – 15-16 big pieces
to wash fish pieces – turmeric powder – 1 tsp
ginger garlic paste – 125 gm
onion – 500 gm
tomato – 400 gm
yogurt – 150 ml
milk – 100 ml
mint & corinader leaves chopped – each -1 cup
green chilli -8
lemon big size -1
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
chilli powder – 1 tsp
cumin powder – 1. 1/2 tsp
oil – 100 ml
ghee- 100 ml
whole garam masala :-
cardamom – 5
cloves -5
cinnamon – 2 piece
bay leaves -1
star anise -2
mace -2
fenugreek – 1/4 tsp

for boiling rice :-
cardamom -2,cloves-2,cinnamon -2 inch stick
star anise-1, bay leaf -1,pepper – 1tsp,cumin -1/2 tsp
chopped little mint and coriander leaves
oil- 1 tbsp
salt – to taste.

for fish fry masala:-
oil- 100 ml
turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
chilli powder – 1 tbsp
coriander powder – 1 tsp
cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
garam masala- 1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
lemon juice – 1
salt – to taste.

Serve with onion raitha, boiled egg, Dalcha or Ennai kathirikai.
