The Methi Matar Pulao Recipe is a simple, healthy preparation of cooked rice, mixed and spiced up with methi leaves and spices. I like to use fresh whole spices as the main ingredients to make the methi rice, but you can use a combination of spices and experiment to suit your taste. The Methi Matar Pulao makes a great lunch box meal filled with the nutrition of methi and rice when served along with Tomato Onion Raita.
Ingredients needed are :
Rice – 1 1/2
Peas – 1 cup
Onion – 1

Methi leaves – 1 cup
Chawes – few
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves
Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 2
Ginger – 1 inch
Saunf -1 tsp
cloves – 4-5
chilies – 5
Saunf – 1/2 tsp
Cardamom – 2
Bay leaf – 2
Moggu – 1
Water
Ghee
