Akki uppittu or rice upma is a very healthy and easy breakfast recipe. This is a vegetable rice upma. Like any other vegetable uppittu or upuma, rice upma is prepared using rice, onion, tomato, vegetables, ginger, green chili and few other spices. You can call this upma or uppittu as ricebath as well.

Ingredients needed are:

1 cup akkitari
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp channa dal
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/2 inch ginger
2 garlic pods
1 cinnamon

2 clove
5-6 chilies
Few curry leaves
1 onion
1 small cup dil leaves
1 cup cooked lima beans
2 cup water
Add 1-2 tbsp grated coconut
Few coriander leaves

2 tsp lime juice
