Ingredients
Toor dal-1 cup
Small onion-around 25 to 30
Turmeric powder-1 tspn
Hing/kayam-a 1 and half inch piece
Water-2 1/2 cups
Salt
Vegetables of ur choice
I used 2 carrots,10 ladies finger,raw banana-2 small,potato-2 big
drumsticks-1
Tomato-3 big
Green chilli-2
Curry leaves
Sambar powder-5 tablespoon
Tamarind-goosberry sized ball
Mustard seeds-1/2 tspn
Kasmiri chilli powder-1 tspn
Dry red chili-2
Salt
Oil
Water-as needed.I used 3 1/4 cups.
