How to make Kerala Fish Molee|Meen Molly Recipe|Easter Special Fish Molly Recipe|Anu’s Kitchen

Ingredients

Fish(I used King Fish)-350 gms
To marinate

Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
Pepper powder-3/4 tspn
Lemon juice-1 tspn
Salt

For gravy

Onion-1 small sliced
Small onion-4
Ginger and garlic crushed-1 1/2 tspn each
Green chilli-2
Tomato-1
Turmeric powder-1/4 tspn
Whole spices-cinnamon-1,cardamom-2 cloves-2
Thin coconut milk-1/2 cup
Medium thick coconut milk-1/2 cup
Thick coconut milk-1/4 cup
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil

Marinate fish and keep for 30 mints
Shallow fry in oil till half cooked

To the same oil add whole spices.Then add ginger garlic and green chillies.Let the raw smell disappear.Add onions and saute till soft.Add thin coconut milk ,curry leaves and salt.Let it boil.Then add fried fish.Cover and cook till gravy thickens.Add medium thick coconut milk and tomatoes.Cover again and cook till tomtoes are soft and gravy thickens.Finally add thick coconut milk and switch off the flame.Yummy Kerala fish molee is ready to serve.
