Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala
Trust me when I say this…. once u’ve tried this homemade masala, you will never want to use a market brand again!!
Ingredients:
8 Kashmiri chillies
5 dry red chillies
2 tbsp cumin (jeera)
3 tbsp coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf)
30 cloves (lavang)
3/4 tbsp peppercorns (kali miri)
4″ cinnamon (dalchini)
3 brown cardamom (badi elichi)
2 bay leaves (tej patta)
10-12 curry leaves (kadi patta)
2 tbsp dry mango powder (amchur)
1 tbsp black salt (kala namak)
Dry roast the chillies and remove n keep aside.
Then roast the curry leaves until they lose their moisture.
Then add all the masalas and roast on a low flame, until you get an aroma. Keep it aside.
Finally, add the amchur and black salt and heat it gently for a few mins.
Dry grind the chillies, curry leaves and masala until you get a fine powder.
Remove it on to a plate and add the heated powders.
Mix it well, preferably with hand, and store in an air tight container.
And yummy homemade Pav Bhaji masala is ready to use, whenever you feel like it.
You can also use this masala for daily vegetables and pulses.
