For rasagulla

Ingredients for malai
• 500 ml whole milk
• 1 tbsp grated pistachio
• 1 tbsp grated almonds
• 1 tbsp grated cashew nuts
• 1 tsp cardamom powder
• 4 tbsp sugar

Method

1. In a heavy bottom pan, boil 500 ml of milk.

2. Once the milk comes to a boil, lower the flame and continue to stir the milk at regular intervals.

3. After 15 minutes add cardamom powder, grated almonds, grated pistachio and grated cashew nuts mix well again stir the milk regular intervals.

4. Also add sugar mix well stir till the milk will thicken to desired consistency

5. Switch off the flame allow it to cool.

6. Take out the cooled rasagulla from the sugar syrup, squeeze and flatten with your hands.

7. Transfer the rasagulla to thickened milk (malai).

8. Chill in the refrigerator overnight or for 2-3 hours.

9. Garnish with chopped pistachios and grated almonds before serving.
