Ingredients
• 1 cup Cooked Idiyappam
• 1 Onion big
• 5 pods garlic finely chopped
• Small piece of ginger finely chopped
• 3 Tomato
• 2 Green chillies
• ½ tsp Red chilli powder
• ½ tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt – As needed
• Chopped coriander leaves
To temper
• 3 tbsp Oil
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 1 tsp Urad dal
• 1 tsp Chana dal
• 2 red chilies
• 1 Curry leaves sprig
Method
1. Make a idiyappam and keep aside.
Temper with the items given under ‘To temper’ table in order.
2. Fry onion till transparent, add the garlic, ginger and green chilies, fry for a minute.
3. Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
4. Mix well and cook until mushy. Add cooked sevai and mix well. Check for salt.
5. Add the chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and switch off the flame.
