Ingredients
Potato – 750 gram
Almond – 8
Cashew nut – 6
Raisin – 20 gram
Ground nut – 50 gram
Powdered sugar – 3- 4 tbsp
Oil – To deep fry
Method
Peel and grate potato using a grater. Wash it minimum 3 to 4 times in ice cold water to remove the excess starch. Keep immersed in cold water until use.
you can add whole or chop as per your wish. Deep fry almonds, cashews, groundnut until golden. Fry raisin until it blows up. Keep aside in kitchen towel. You can fry in oil or in ghee too as per your wish. Deep fry grated potatoes until crisp in medium flame. Turn gently in between to ensure even cooking.
Drain in paper towel. Add the fried nuts to this potato.
Add powdered sugar and toss well to coat evenly.
Notes
I used two large potatoes. Wash it well, do not skip it. Otherwise it may get too browned. It depends on potato variety too. Some potatoes may not turn golden, it will be perfect white.
You can add peeled groundnut too.
Do not add powdered sugar over too hot potato.
Sweet mixture stays crisp as such in airtight container for 2 days. You can also refrigerate it. Its really flavourful and delicious!
