Senai Kilangu Cutlet/how to make yam cutlet/சேனைக்கிழங்கு கட்லட்/Cutlet recipes

Description :

Dice the yam into medium sized cubes and pressure cook for two whistles.
Cool, open and mash it well.
Take the mashed yam in a mixing bowl and add in all the mentioned ingredients (Roasted gram powder, red chili powder,
garam masala powder, onion & salt) except bread crumbs and oil and mix well to make a cutlet mixture.
Heat a non stick pan and pour oil on it.
Take a portion of the prepared mixture and give it the shape of a cutlet/tikki.
Roll it on bread crumbs, spread on a flat plate on all side and place it on the hot pan.
Flip after few minutes and cook until both the sides are crisp and brown.
Serve these delicious yam cutlets with ketchup
