Method
1. in a large mixing bowl take 2 cups rice flour and 1/2 cup gram flour, 1/2 cup roasted gram flour also add 1 tsp sesame seeds, 1 tsp ajwain, 2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp ghee, pinch of hing and salt.
2. combine all the ingredients well. add water little by little and start to knead the dough to smooth, non sticky and soft dough.
3. take ribbon pakoda mold (straight slit) and fix to the chakli maker. also grease the chakli maker with some oil. this prevents dough from sticking to mould.
4.now make a cylindrical shape out of dough and place the dough inside maker.also tighten the lid and heat the oil.
5. directly press the ribbon pakoda into hot oil moving hand in circular motion.
6. flip the pakoda and fry till they turn golden brown and crispy from both sides.drain them to the paper towel to remove excess oil.
7. serve ribbon pakoda with masala tea
