rava gulab jamun/Easy and tasty sooji gulab jamun/ரவா குலாப் ஜாமுன்/Diwali sweet recipes

Description :

Ingredients
• Sooji / Rava / Semolina – 1 cup
• Milk – 3 cups
• Ghee – 2 tblsp
• Oil for deep frying
• Sugar – 1 cup
• Water – 1 cup
• Cardamom Pods – 5 crushed
• Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

Method

1. Take milk in a pan and bring it to a boil.

2. Take sooji in a dry pan and roast for 2 mins. add milk and mix
continue sly without any lumps.

3. Cook till it is completely thick and dry. Take it in a bowl and cool it down.

4. Make syrup, take sugar and water in a pan, boil it and cook till sticky stage. Add cardamom, lemon juice and mix well. Set aside and keep warm.

5. Once the sooji is cooled, knead well till smooth and soft.

6. Roll into smooth balls.

7. Heat oil for deepfrying, drop ball in medium hot oil and fry till golden. Drain and add immediately into the syrup. Let it soak for 1 hour.

8. Our Rava gulab jamun is ready to eat
