Prawns biryani/Prawn biryani in tamil/Prawn briyani/இறால் பிரியாணி/Iral biryani/Prawn recipes

Description :

Ingredients:-

1 cup Basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
2 cups Water
300 Gram Prawns, cleaned
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp Whole Black Pepper Corns
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 star anise
2 marati mokku
4 Cloves
3 cardamom
2 Cinnamon Sticks
Salt, to taste
1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder
2 tsp. Red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
4 tbsp. Oil
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp Ginger, garlic and green chilli paste
3 Onion, chopped
2 Tomato, chopped
Fist full Coriander leaves
Fist full coriander leaves
2 tbsp curd

Method:- –

In a pan heat oil and add fennel seeds,cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, peppercorns, cardamom, star anise, marati mokku, cinnamon sticks, and onion fry until the onions are golden brown in colour.

– Add the crushed ginger, garlic and green chilli, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt and stir until the raw smell of the ginger-garlic goes away.

– Now add the chopped tomato, coriander leaves, mint leaves, curd, prawns and stir fry on high flame for 2 minutes. – Then add the soaked rice and stir gently.

– Add water to this and boil on high flame. Once the water start to boiling cover with a lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame.

– Garnish with coriander leaves. Prawns biryani is ready to eat!
