Description :

INGREDIENTS
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 2 tbsp oil
• 4 cloves
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 inch cinnamon stick
• 3 cardamom / elachi
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 2 small green chili, slit lenthwise
• 1 tbsp ginger garlic crushed
• 1 cup peas fresh
• 1 cup basmati rice, soaked 30 minutes
• 2 cups water
• salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Method
1. In a Biryani pot heat ghee and oil.
2. Add cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and bay leaf. saute till they turn aromatic.
3. Add green chili, crushed ginger garlic and onion.
4. saute onions till they turn translucent.
5. add green peas and saute well.
6. add salt to taste and mix well.
7. add basmati rice soaked for atleast 30 minutes and saute gently.
8. now add 2 cups of water. always add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of basmati rice.
9. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
10. Once cooked switch off the flame and add fresh coriander leaves mix it well.
11. serve peas with raita or veg or non veg curries.

Note:
1. If you cook pressure cooker means pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
2. once the pressure releases from the cooker, gently fluff.
