Peas Masala in tamil/Matar Masala for chappati/Gravy recipes/பச்சை பட்டாணி கிரேவி

Description :

Method:
1. First cook the peas in water with little salt.

2. Heat 2 tbsp oil. Saute garlic, ginger, green chili & 2 nos chopped onions

3. Add the tomato and mix well

4. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and cook for a minute.

5. Add cashew nuts and mix. Turn off and keep aside to cool

6. Once cooled, add little water & grind to paste.
Now its time to saute the second set of ingredients.

7. Heat 2 tbsp oil. Saute cloves, cinnamon, cardamom & 1 chopped onion

8. Once the onion turns brown, Add the ground masala paste, add garam masala, cumin powder and mix well.

9. Add salt and little sugar to balance the flavours

10. , Add cooked peas, and 1 cup water. Let it boil.Close and cook for 10 minutes

Done! Your delicious Peas masala is ready to serve!!!
