Description :

Method

1. In a Mixie jar add 1tbsp soaked rice, 5 cardamom, and 2 tbsp grated coconut and 2 tbsp of water grind to fine paste. keep it aside

2. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a small pan and fry the 6 cashews and 15
raisins separately and keep aside.

3 Add 1/2 cup moong dal and fry it for a few minutes till you get a nice aroma.

4 Add the 2 cups of water and bring it to boil add 1/2 cup sabudana cover and cook them for 8 minutes

5. Add 1 cup hot water and add moong dal mix it well. cover and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame. once dal cooked well add 1/2 cup hot water and add 1/2 cup jaggery and stir it well

6. then add ground rice paste and mix it well immediately to avoid lumps.

7. add 1 cup boiled milk and mix it well. once the milk is start to boiling switch of the flame.

8. Serve this payasam warm,garnished with cashews and raisins.
