Method
For the Masala
Heat a pan and add in the cinnamon, star anise,cloves and cardamom. Add in the coriander seeds, black peppercorn, fennel seeds and dry red chillies. dry roast on a low flame till the seeds are brown and fragrant.
Once the seeds are golden, add in the poppy seeds.switch off the flame. leave it to cool and make a fine powder
Heat oil in a pan Add in the onions. Saute for around five minutes.Add in the ginger garlic paste and green chillies saute for a minute more. and add fresh masala powder saute for a minute.Remove the pan from heat and set aside on a plate to cool.
Once cool, transfer the mixture to a mixie jar and grind to a smooth paste adding a cup of water. Set aside.
Take a bowl add mutton bones freshly ground masala, curd, salt mix it well and marinate half hour
Heat oil in a pan and add marinated mutton bones. Saute for a couple of minutes add one cups of water.
Cover the pressure pan and cook on a low flame for 15 minutes.
dry like mutton chukka. Serve with Idli or parotta.
